Pre Shipment Inspection
General product information
This is the detailed visual and technical inspection of goods before shipment.When production is finished or at least 80% of products are packed and ready for shipment the samples are selected at random, according to AQL sampling standards and procedures.
It is generally conducted on the premises of the manufacturer, on samples selected according to defined sampling procedures.
The inspection criteria covering quality, quantity, marking and packing are based on the client's specifications and reference samples, as provided.
Upon completion of PSI a detailed inspection report is sent to the client.
- Appearance: size, colour, shape, workmanship, etc.
- Function: subject to the item inspected.
- Safety of product: rough or sharp edge, creep age, approvals (CE, GS, etc) etc.
- Safety of transportation: drop test
- Packing: inner & outer packing, carton marks, etc.
- Conventional test: colour fastness, tension, pressure, burning point, etc
